We have a very special guest coming to the Wine House, and we are SO excited about this one.

Mary Lou from Black Pearl Wines in South Africa will be joining us for an evening of wine, stories, South African-inspired food, and a little celebration.

If you’ve spent any time at the Wine House, you probably already know The Mischief Maker. It has become one of our best-selling wines and definitely has its own fan club around here.

Now you get to meet the woman behind it!

Black Pearl is Mary Lou’s small, family-run winery in South Africa’s Paarl region, and there’s another reason we love her so much: Mary Lou is from Maine!

And we couldn’t have picked a better day for her visit. September 24th is National Braai Day in South Africa, a day centered around gathering with friends and family around the fire, sharing food, and celebrating together.

So we’re joining in!

We’ll have South African-inspired snacks to enjoy alongside Mary Lou’s wines as we celebrate Braai Day right here at the Wine House.
