Fondue Night with Nibblesford

Ian from Nibblesford Cheese Shop in Biddeford is back at the Wine House to warm our bellies with fondue! He will be making two styles of cheese fondue: a classic Swiss style and one with local cheeses. Enjoy them with a spread of accompaniments: crusty bread, cured meats and fresh fruits & veggies along with a flight of four Sommelier selected wines to keep you cozy through the winter.
Ticket price includes: Unlimited fondue bar, wine flight of four pairings, fondue recipes to take home and great company!

Mollie has been an educator for the past 18 years and loves teaching others about wine
as much as she enjoys learning about it herself. Whatever the subject may be,
winemaking & viticulture, business of wine, Oregon, or Food & Wine Pairing, Mollie brings
her expertise and passion for wine to every subject. She became a Master of Wine in 2015 and is currently the National Director of Wine Education for Jackson Family Wines.
This tasting is a fun way to learn about how food and wine pair together and provides a framework for creating better pairings. We will taste five wines that highlight the building blocks of wine: acid, sugar, tannin, alcohol and umami (deliciousness), along with a small plate of flavors that display the elements of food that affect the way food and wine interact: acid, sugar, protein, salt, fat and umami.
